Pathway of Stranger Living
Donated Bed Sheets, Plaster, Wood, Rope, Crystals, Projector, Digital Video
Approx. 12 FT wide x 15 FT tall x 40 FT deep
A series of arches -- a taxidermied rainbow -- acted as a conduit for the passage of nearly 20,000 people over the course of a three day exhibition. Made with broken crystals and donated bed sheets, the work is a metaphor for prescribed value systems in phenomena and intimacy. Lit from within and projected onto from above. The video projection is fractured and diffused by a rotating crystal lens.
